JUST 3 INGREDIENTS

Yes! The most simplest grape sauce recipe with just 3 ingredients in it. Many recipes says you can add lemon and/or grape essence. But this recipe that we have here does not need them. A pure grape sweet sauce with the natural taste of grapes plus the sweetness of added sugar. Corn flour syrup is added to get the thickness for the sauce, otherwise it does not alter the taste.

Points to Note

  • Use Ripe and Fresh Grapes. Else the sauce will have a sour taste and you need to add more sugar to compensate.
  • Do not worry about buying seedless grapes. You are going to filter it anyway. Avoid buying hybrid/GM fruits.
  • Store in glass bottles or jars. Do not use plastic bottles.
  • Refrigerate and use for two weeks.

  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp corn flour

Instructions
  1. Ingredients for your reference. Very simple set of ingredients.

  2. Take the cup of grapes and blend them nicely. You don't need to add water because the grape is juicy enough (if ripe) and it forms a nice paste once blended. Filter using a sieve and separate the juice.

  3. Dissolve the corn flour in water completely to make corn syrup. Also add some water to sugar in a separate bowl to make sugar syrup.

  4. Add the the grape juice and the corn flour syrup into this sugar bowl.

  5. Heat the bowl in low to medium flame and keep stirring. Continue to stir until it forms a thick paste as shown.

  6. Once done, stop flame, cool the sauce down and taste it. If it is a bit sour (because not all grapes are same), feel free to add some more sugar and mix it well.

  7. Serve chilled. Use this sauce as accompaniments almost for any snack that you eat! Refrigerate in a glass jar/bottle.
