  • 1 tbsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Instant Coffee Powder
  • 1/2 cup curd
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
Instructions
  1. All Ingredients shown below. Mix the coffee powder and hot milk and stir until coffee is dissolved completely. Allow this to cool down completely.
  2. Add the rock salt in the cooker, spread evenly and heat in low flame for 15 minutes until the salt is hot. This forms the base for the baking process. Salt retains heat for longer and provides an ideal platform. Sea sand can also be used for this purpose.
  3. Take a cake pan 1.5L (any wide vessel) and spread 1 tbsp of butter at the bottom and sides of the pan. Add cocoa powder and spread across the pan.
  4. Take another vessel and filter/sieve the all purpose flour to get the finest powder and add cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder and salt to this. Mix it thoroughly until the color is light brown as shown.
  5. Mix oil in sugar and add curd to this and make a thorough mixture. Now slowly add the coffee that was prepared in first step to this, while stirring slowly and create a gravy mixture.
  6. Now add the mixed cake powder from step 4 to this gravy mix and stir it thoroughly for 5 minutes. The more we stir, the more soft the cake is. Add remaining butter to the mix along with the vanilla extract. Add this to the cake pan (not more than half the pan) and strike to remove any air bubbles and stir until the chocolate mix is ready to be cooked as shown.
  7. Now place the cake pan into the pressure cooker (with salt at the bottom) and heat for 60 - 70 minutes in sim/low flame. Open the cooker after 70 minutes and use a toothpick to check for consistency. The tooth pick should not get sticky, which means the cake is ready!
