Why the name Choco Lava Cake?
First things first. Why the name Choco Lava Cake? Choco is straightforward, its chocolate and its universal. Its time chocolate is made a taste. We should stop calling it a flavor. Thats another topic though!
But why “Lava”?
Well as the name suggests, “Lava” means molten state. Its semi-solid, that usually erupts from inside under the right circumstances.
So is the cake molten? No, the cake simply has an outer cooked layer with molten chocolate in its semi-solid form is waiting to be licked off!
It sounds delicious, looks fabulous and tastes like nothing else. The mere sight of chocolate oozing out of the cake sends the stomach juices to boiling point.
Okay, all said and done, can we make it in our home, can we do it using pressure cooker without an oven, can we make it egg-less and still taste awesome?
